  • Societas 2016 has a fearful theme

Eagerly anticipated each year by the Moore College community, the Societas yearbook is an exciting showcase of our student body and faculty. As it is a welcome insight into College life for those who cannot be a daily part of the Newtown campus, Societas also serves as a prayer resource for supporters.

Expected to be available from late August or mid September, Societas 2016 has dared to tackle the theme of “fear”. Among its many profiles, interviews and articles, Societas will wade … more

  • Moore Celebrating the Reformation in 2017

Knowing where we have come from can help us to better understand who we are and what we are about. Christians find their total identity in Jesus Christ but there are other major figures or events from the past which continue to shape Christianity today.

Next year, Moore College will host a range of events to celebrate the 500-year anniversary of the European Reformation and its ongoing importance to theology and everyday life.

This year’s Moore College School of Theology offers masterclasses which focus upon key connections between God and His world. “Out of the Depths” is the unifying theme of this annual one-day event, with College faculty discussing a significant spectrum of what it means to rise in restored relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

  • Mission Awareness Week takes a large view of the planet

Is our view too small of what Jesus is doing around our planet? Every year, Moore College’s Mission Awareness Week (Jul 25 – 29 2016) is a dedicated time of encouraging our community to turn its sights beyond the gospel needs of those around us.

With eight mission organisations on campus all week and special seminars to be held, Mission Awareness Week invites students to step into the bigger, global picture of God’s saving work through … more

  • Moore's Centre for Christian Living Pursues Unity

Knowing God and Jesus is one thing. Living for them, in our modern world, is quite another. The challenge and struggle of Christian living so often can seem to outweigh the joy and contentment found in Jesus.

Wanting to help us with living well the lives which God calls us to is Moore College’s Centre for Christian Living. CCL exists to “bring biblical ethics to everyday issues” in our … more
